Full-service design is billed hourly with retainers collected throughout the project. Every engagement begins with a personalized estimate based on your specific scope of work — because no two projects are alike, we take the time to understand your vision, your space, and your goals before putting together a proposal that reflects the true investment involved.
Our minimum design fee for full-service projects starts at $10,000. All design fee estimates are exclusive of contractor fees, materials, and furnishings.

Finish Selection Packages

Our Finish Selection Packages are designed for clients who want cohesive, curated material selections without the full-service commitment. Whether you're building new or remodeling, we bring the expertise to guide every finish decision — so your home feels intentional from the ground up.
Full Package — $7,500
Our most comprehensive selection service covering every finish category your home needs. Ideal for new construction where every detail must be specified, cohesive, and ready for your builder to bid.
What we select together:
Exterior stone, cabinetry finishes and hardware, flooring and tile, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, paint colors, finish carpentry details, bath hardware and vanity mirrors
How it works:
We guide you through a series of curated showroom meetings — hard finishes, plumbing, lighting, cabinetry, and finish carpentry — so you can see, touch, and feel every option before committing. Our team documents everything on site and delivers a digital design deck with all selections and reference links within 24–48 hours of each meeting day.
What's included:
Up to 40 hours of design time, digital design deck, and 5 structured selection meetings
Whats not included:
Site visits; labor or materials; technical drawings (floor plans, elevations or 3D renders)
What we need from you:
Final architectural plans, cabinetry samples available for the hard finish meeting, a preliminary cabinetry design deck, and a completed Studio Kaye design questionnaire
Any additional time needed after 40 hours will be billed at our hourly rate of $220/HR.
Essentials Package — $1,800
A focused, efficient selection experience covering your foundational finish decisions. Perfect for clients who need core selections handled quickly and professionally.
What we select together:
Cabinetry finish, flooring and tile, countertops, plumbing concepts, lighting concepts and paint colors
Where we meet:
Macadam Flooring & Design, Portland OR — one curated selection day together
What's included:
Up to 10 hours of design time and a selection summary shared within 24–48 hours after the meeting date
What’s not included:
Site visits; labor or materials; technical drawings (floor plans, elevations or 3D renders)
What we need from you:
Final architectural plans and cabinetry samples available for the meeting
Any additional time needed after 10 hours will be billed at our hourly rate of $220/HR.

Need focused, uninterrupted design time dedicated entirely to your project? Book a Design Day and our team is all yours!
Perfect for clients who want real momentum on a space — whether that's a sourcing session, a room refresh, a planning day, or hands-on help pulling a design together from start to finish.
Half Day — $800 — 4 dedicated hours of design time
Full Day — $1,500 — 8 dedicated hours of design time
Time is billed as a flat fee — no surprises, no scattered hourly invoices.
How It Works:
We'll check availability and lock in your Design Day. Full payment is due at booking to reserve your spot.

Expert Consulting

This service is ideal for you if you are:

Making your own design selections and want an expert opinion on what you have pulled together before committing to purchases
Working through house plans and want a designer's input on spatial flow, layout, and things to consider before building
Wanting design ideas and direction for a space but prefer to implement on your own
Needing a second opinion before making a big purchase or design decision
How It Works:
Consulting is billed at $250/hr with a 2-hour minimum. Additional time beyond the minimum is billed in 30-minute increments.
